MICROPOWER DIRECT’S MDR-240TY POWER SUPPLY

MicroPower Direct proudly announces the launch of two Din-rail AC-DC power supplies, the MDR-240TY and MDR-480TY. Engineered for reliability, efficiency, and versatility.  These power supplies deliver exceptional performance for industrial and commercial applications while producing a power output of 240W and 480W respectively.

The MDR-240TY provides a mid-range solution with 240W of output power and fixed voltage options of 12V, 24V, or 48V. Designed for applications such as industrial control panels, medical devices, as well as commercial electronics. This model offers a compact form factor, a high efficiency of over 92%, and a robust operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. Its universal input voltage range of 90 to 264 VAC makes it suitable for global use, while built-in protections against over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuits ensure reliability in demanding environments.

For applications requiring higher power, the MDR-480TY delivers 480W with similar fixed voltage options. Ideal for high-capacity systems such as industrial automation, telecom equipment, and renewable energy systems. It    achieves a superior efficiency of over 93%. Like its counterpart, the MDR-480TY-Da operates across the same wide temperature range. It supports universal input and incorporates active power factor correction (PFC) for compliance with international harmonic current standards (IEC/EN61000-3-2).

Both models are certified to UL/cUL/EN62368-1 standards and comply with EN55032 Class B requirements for conducted and radiated emissions. These certifications, combined with their energy-efficient performance and advanced safety features, make the MDR-240TY-Da and MDR-480TY-Da exceptional choices for customers seeking reliable and cost-effective power solutions.
